Logical Path

Never before have we never done it before Stay on zero stuck on the concrete Winds and waves can wash away the careful positioning Facts and acts attack and be back but you’ll stay neutral I saw you doin the neutron dance You were free and free of charge Gratuitous vacancy Stand without lean Driven by gravity Extreme neutrality There never once was there never wasn’t us Never had to be a minus or a plus You stay unprejudiced. Don’t care what the conflict is Simon says Simon’s over here and Simon stands still I saw you doin the neutron dance You were free and free of charge Gratuitous vacancy Stand without lean Driven by gravity I saw you neutering all your sounds All your pets and all your nouns Turning off the electricity

Don’t just stand there Standing is insufficient You can stand there but you ought to do other things too I can be convinced that your stance is acceptable The shadow that you cast has a charismatic character You are a creature of substance and opacity If allowed I’d insist on additional activity Waht’s your name? If you stand there and answer Will I have enough information to make a good decision? Until I know more I’ll call you standing entity and I will try to be polite and suggest that you don’t just stand Do you stand to eradicate the evil in your heart Do you stand to instantiate the truest highest art? Such questions you cannot stand to hear me ask And where’d you get the idea that standing is your only task? Just standing there might feel alright at certain times But I’ve made the case for present uncertainty with my rhymes I stand with her and him I stand with them I stand fir it Who cares? It only matters if there’s measurable benefit

Lights are flickering inside a place where I should have a mind I have half a mind to go and find the other half I really do see what’s so funny but I’m trying not to laugh at you I’m glad that someone here knows what to do Everybody’s bodies are interacting bodily Many mentalities are mental in this establishment I really do see what’s so funny but I’m trying not to laugh at you I’m glad that someone here knows what to do If you’re smart you will grow big and strong I have no idea how If your brain can’t refrain from insane exercises outside of your skull you won’t be dull Oh well I am only sensitive to nonsense in the sense it’s indecent I’m incensed by my intent to go to the tires where their wires went I really do see what’s so funny but I’m trying not to laugh at you I’m glad that someone here knows what to do

Damn fool food I have breathed all you can eat Dressed as a car mmmm Make a strong bond With a good molecule She started to write a play After a good meal You look for friends to hold your heart With gloves made of spider silk And other things that someone built And other things that someone built Good molecules Someone got Confused by their own bad dreams All you can you sing Dressed as insect angels When I was young I kept beetles and fed them seeds Grew up tall and flew to other trees Remember me

Logical Path 02:53
She was broke and spoke in a bright black coat She used to be a lizard in a joke that she told 10000 ago it was hot we were caught in The traffic for the end of the world She used to be a larva and she dressed like a man She used to have a bigger kind of body plan and 10000 ago it was hot we were caught in The traffic for the end of the world We had an easy time on the way back home We took the logical path and the rational road There wasn’t much to avoid, wasn’t high to climb We had an easy time I was easily put into a state of unease To state my purpose at the stateline as we fled the rising seas 10000 years ago i was not a robot I was avoiding the end of the world Easily experienced and expected unreasonably The logic of our blessings was impeached and executed A million years from now we’ll regret and forget about The traffic for the end of the world

Tidally locked. He lives on the day side The sun far away and always above She doen’t feel fear. She feels suspicion and love Population 50000000, give or take 50000000 Constant daytime perpetual sun half awake the other half asleep She doesn’t feel fear. She feels suspicion and love
8.
All kinds of soil can make you dirty All kinds of plants are tasty And the dust settled on my shoulder The dust settled on my shoulder I’d like the resonate with envy I’ll take a walk in backgrounds of the nation And the dust settled on my shoulder The dust settled on my shoulder All of a sudden I have handles on my neck I can outrun horses No dust on me No killer bees No baby seas Can you believe? I can show my documents to you I’ll show my papers to The storm is over and I don’t mind excavating anything you want me to No dust on me No killer bees No baby seas Can you believe? No I can’t believe it.

Round here don’t worry ‘bout collapsing Gravity is mild it’ll make you smile Radiation doesn’t keep you in a cage Gonna stick around for a while It’s not so bad that our ship broke down We’re all earthlings now Don’t worry about oxygen packets You’re gonna lose the habit Round here air grows on trees So focus on making friends and relax Societies have alread been founded Hope you like towns, we’re surrounded You can get your food and little bits of paper They’ll give you that for writing codes

Lots of fun so we run. Run in the dark Very dark so we start. End and start Barcode on my heart Barcode on my heart Barcode on my heart And my bones in the shopping cart Lets go shopping while we’re napping. at the florest with your dog So we ran to the forest. And the flowers there were dark

Filthyness 02:16
Get your sleepiness out of here Squeeze your fear out of your rear Get your sleepiness gone by sunrise This time it may surprise you I been making a mess oh yes I’m a walking mess factory I would clean the mess keeps coming Making that filthyness grow Scratch the chair and curl up on it Jump in the safari car Watch the monkeys run around Sorry about all of our messes Disruptive maker interruptive percolator Slinging dirt at everything moving I’m aware of the vexation it causes but I wanna do it anyway

Foggy Day 01:51
On a foggy day we could lose our way We could run across some danger i think Maybe the elevation pinched upon our brains decompressed the thoughts we had That’s what happened, I think In a lazy climb we could waste some time We could miss a lot of deadlines I think Don’t be late. But definitley don’t be on time Grandma said the sun’s going to burn the goldmine and deadlines Go on take a ride on the falls They won’t mind at all I said your name a thousand times I think I understand why The choir sang it for SO long On a foggy day we could lose our way We could run across some danger I think

Food and helicopters everywhere Dressed in wires with noodles everywhere Light is just a misconception Time is only lies Fetal frog is made of ice and mind Ambulate in hallway so unkind Mass is a misunderstanding Time is only lies

The Habitat 04:01
No more mistakes be extra precise I’ll take sufficient care. I won’t be allowing any disturbance to the habitat They took precautions and you’ll see. There's no getting out of here Aren't we indebted to the engineers They've taken all control. We're getting out in dreams for now but not for long

about

"Logical Path is my 8th singer-songwriter album. You'll notice how the variety of rock, prog, electronic, Americana, funk and chamber pop has been calibrated to titillate and bedazzle. Most of these songs were written long ago, and like a 17-year cicada, have spent significant time in unseen larval forms. Listen. Do you want to live in a world where my big weird head is the only one these tunes are stuck in? I would not. My recently self-imposed Patreon deadlines gave me the focus I needed get these little tunes road-ready. So now they are un-unfinished, out of my head, off my harddrive, and traveling at unsafe speeds down your deep and welcoming earholes."
